A beacon of top-quality coffee and one of London’s most respected coffee haunts, Prufock, located on the foodie hub that is Leather Lane, is close to my office. It’s headed by 2009 World Barista Champion Gwilym Davies and is just opposite another coffee hot spot, the Department of Coffee & Social Affairs. In London’s increasingly crowded coffee landscape, Prufrock oozes originality. Prufrock serves coffee by “siphon”, with its exotic chemistry sets greeting visitors before the more traditional espresso machine. This coffee spot it’s the ideal place for expanding coffee horizons, but it’s also a good spot for nattering. The stripped floorboards, a mix of paleness and colour, paraphernalia and funky chairs create a fun environment.
